Pitch Parties are no-pressure open mic nights for people with startup ideas. They offer participants the chance to practice pitching, workshop concepts, and connect with WNC’s entrepreneurial community in a positive, laid back environment.
If you’ve got a vision but you don’t know how to make it a reality, start by sharing it at a Pitch Party.

Pitch parties are open to anyone, and attendees can choose to take part as audience members or participants.
Audience members listen to pitches, ask questions about business concepts, and give participants helpful feedback.
Participants deliver 1-minute pitches that:
- Introduce themselves and their ideas.
- Describe their ideas.
- Explain the problems their ideas are meant to solve.
- Explain how their ideas will solve those problems.
- Detail the kind of feedback they’d like from audience members.
They also answer audience members’ questions.
Pitch Party Asheville is held monthly at Hatch Innovation Hub. Pitch Party Hendersonville is held quarterly located at Southern Appalachian Brewery in Hendersonville, NC.
