Hatch Mentoring Services
Find out what’s holding you back. Fine tune what will drive you forward.
Guided by her Hatch mentors Betty Shotton and Dr. Susan Clark Muntean, Kossoff had an eye-opening realization: her voice, a potential differentiator for the brand, simply wasn’t being used to its fullest potential.
Supporting Entrepreneurial Growth & Development
At Hatch, our goal is to support the development and success of businesses that have the potential to grow and create significant impact. We stand ready to support and nurture qualified new ventures as they evolve from an idea, through experiments, to a marketable offering, and through expansion.
Hatch mentors can help founders to reduce business risks, increase their likelihood of success, and prepare for future stages of growth and development. We work hard to match mentors and programs based on the specific needs of founders and their companies.
Program recommendations will vary and may take the form of a single meeting with a matched expert, several meetings with a strategy or industry mentor, or a series of meetings over 6 months with a mentor team.
In order to be considered, you must meet the following criteria:
- Have at least one full or part-time founder living in WNC.
- Founder actively participates in program activities from start to finish.
- Founder can articulate the existence of a real problem, a valid market opportunity, and compelling solution or concept.
- Demonstrate the potential to grow and have an impact beyond the local market.*
*NOTE: The Hatch Mentoring Network does not typically support local retailers, art or craft-based businesses, hospitality, or consulting and professional service businesses.
